Memorial Day Sales Comparison

Memorial Day is one of those times when all the stores have the same items on sale at the same time. That makes it easy to compare prices before stocking up.

Items in red are the cheapest from among the same items at these stores NOT counting Albertsons Doublers (since doublers are always going to make things the cheapest!) Items in itacalics are prices that I would be willing to pay.

Fred Meyer: (Through May 28th)
Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce, 5 for $5 with in-ad coupon
Use: $1/3 Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce from SS 5-22
Final cost: $.67 each
To get the best price on this, only buy 3 at a time (buy 3, use one manufacturer's coupon, one store coupon from the ad). To do this more than once, have multiple copies of the ad (from your multiple copies of the paper) or ask your cashier to use the same coupon more than once.
(I actually paid this price for them, hedging my bets that this was the cheapest I'd find. I don't shop at Albertsons, so this was the best local deal for me).

There is a coupon on the back page of the ad for $10 off your Flame Crafted Bone-In Spiral Half Ham. Not sure if the coupon can be used for the Private Selection ham - but if so that would make the hams about $.73 a lb. Since that is a WAY different price than other stores are offering, I am thinking it's not going to work.
