Walmart is the cheapest at $1.67 per lb for a spiral sliced ham, but Top's price is the second cheapest. You can read more about this week's ham deals here.

Cook's Shank Ham portion (uncut) $.99 per lb. Apparently it costs them a dollar a pound to cut a ham because that's about how much difference there is in price between the spiral cut and uncut.

There is a coupon on the back page of the ad for $10 off your Flame Crafted Bone-In Spiral Half Ham. Not sure if the coupon can be used for the Private Selection ham - but if so that would make the hams about $.73 a lb. Since that is a WAY different price than other stores are offering, I am thinking it's not going to work.

Here's what you need to know:

Both of these use the SAME Safeway store coupon, so you'll have to decide which you want more. If you have multiple copies of the newspaper you will have multiples of the ad and coupon. You will have to do more than one transaction though as it's one of these per transaction.

 

Additionally, Safeway's store coupon policy is that in-ad coupons are allowed after the customer has spent $10. I am definitely going to try this as we need new toothbrushes around here.
