Update on Safeway's Catalina Policy

In my class I told you that Safeway accepts other store Catalinas, BUT Safeway has clarified their policy to say that they will ONLY accept the Catalinas for SPECIFIC products, not for $$ of the total transaction. So, if you are at Fred Meyer and you get a Catalina for $1 off Shout Stain remover (I get these ALL THE TIME), you CAN use that at Safeway. But you CANNOT use one that just says "$ off your next transaction."
