Bartell Drugs Jan 3rd- 16th

UPDATE: I went to Bartell's last night and here is what I found:
the Sylvania CFL coupon from Smartsource.com will NOT work with the B1G1 sale. BUT there are Sylvania CFLs on sale for $.99 - so they are FREE with the coupon!

The Arm & Hammer Baking Soda coupon also won't work - the coupon is for the 2 or 4 lb box and the sale is on the 1#. I still think that $.59 is an okay price to pay. :)

They were happy to take my coupon for SoftSoap on the 7.5 oz sale product (no computer beeps!) and the Pepperidge farm coupon also worked. Yours truly will be printing a few more of those to get a few more free bags! You can buy coupons on ebay for $1 off the purchase of 2 - that would make them $.50 each, which is not a bad price either. And remember, you can usually print each internet coupon twice per computer. More computers = more coupons.

Lastly, can I confess that I am loving Bartells more and more? They are NEVER out of stock on hot sale items (are you listening Walgreens and RiteAid?). One thing I can't get over is why you'd put something on a hot sale and then not have enough stock to go around. Don't you WANT people to spend money at your store?

Items in red are stock-up prices.

Sylvania Lightbulbs, B1G1 Free
There is a coupon on smartsource.com for $1/1 Sylvania CFL or halogen bulb. I found it on page 5. I am not sure if Bartells allows customers to use a $1 off coupon on a B1G1 Free, but I am going to check it out tonight. The coupon will not work for the B1G1 Free sale, however, the sale items were a 4-pk of regular bulbs for $2.49. That means they were about $1.25 each after the BOGO - or about $.30 per bulb. I thought that was a good enough price and bought some. :)
You CAN use the internet printable coupon for FREE Sylvania CFL's though! They are $.99 each - so free after your coupon! Definitely going to print more of those coupons and go back for more free bulbs. We always seem to be running out of bulbs. (Expect light bulbs to go on sale again for Earth Day in April. So a stock pile will be what you'd need between now and then.)

Pepperidge Farm Goldfish, $.99

Final Cost: Free if your coupon scans! (I used this coupon at Target today for Goldfish and it worked just fine, even though it's doesn't say Goldfish on the coupon. You may be limited by your store.) This coupon worked just fine on the Goldfish!
